Writing with deft songcraft and a sound all her own, Mousey writes songs from the heart in true earnest fashion. From earning an APRA Silver Scroll nomination on her very first single Extreme Highs, to high alternative and student radio praise and a No. 10 placing on the Aotearoa Music charts with her sophomore album, Mousey has cemented herself as a fixture of Aotearoa New Zealand’s heavy-hitting songwriter selection.

Mousey’s third album The Dreams of Our Mothers’ Mothers! brings Mousey her second Silver Scroll nomination with Home Alone, alongside continued praise from listeners and industry alike, placing on the Aotearoa Top 20 Album Charts and Rolling Stone Australia’s list of favourite NZ albums of the decade. Described as fascinating, complex and cinematic, The Dreams of Our Mothers’ Mothers! is a further expansion into Mousey’s artistry and pushing the boundaries of her writing, leaving no musical or thematic stone unturned as she delves into the depths of family relationships and motherhood.

As a live act, Mousey’s performances are characterised by her faultless vocals, her multi instrumental musicianship and raw emotional energy.
